In most of the urban cities, during hot summer, the water stored in roof tanks turns so hot that it is hard to touch. During summer, temperature in many cities reaches around 48oC in most of the cities of Pakistan. During a sunny day, when maximum outside temperature reaches to 48oC the minimum temperature inside the plastic tank reaches to 48oC at that time. Even with a five layered white tank, the inside temperature of the water reaches around 46 degrees. Similar, in winter, water gets too cold and in some areas, it reaches near to freezing point and can not be used without heating.
